There’s a new page to check out!
This week I’m going to keep my post quite brief. The main reason is because – I’ve got a new page out! I’m quite excited, as you can see, so I hope you take the time to check it out. It’s part of my tutorials/techniques page and it’s all about Interfacings and Stabilisers.
So, as some of you know, I’m currently running a Pedlar Creative Sewing Circle group on facebook. We’ve made a couple of bags so far and will be starting a new project soon. (If you want to join and be part of the fun head over to my facebook page. We’d love to have you along!) Anyway Kelly mentioned that she found my knowledge on interfacings and stabilisers very handy. So I’ve spent the last few weeks doing some research, writing out the information and even filming a facebook live event. And here’s the finished result.
It’s such a large subject to try and cover. I hope you find something useful amongst my rambling. Also I’m mainly looking at interfacings and stabilisers from the perspective of a bag maker. Other crafts and sewing disciplines may use these products is a different way. Hopefully I’ve covered enough, without boring you too much! If you do have any questions or comments please let me know. If I don’t know the answer I might know where to find it.
