Today I wanted to introduce you to my store on Etsy – Pedlar Creative. The name for my store (and now my blog) was the brain child of my partner Spence, who thinks Etsy is the modern day version of the old school door to door salesman. So a big thank-you to Spence! It’s not been open for long so there are only a few items listed at the moment but I’m hoping to add to these over time.
At the moment I’m concentrating on little 5” zipper pouches which are a great little sewing project and are extremely useful to boot. I’m currently working on a free tutorial for making these yourself as they are super easy and don’t take long so a great way to fill in some time on the weekend.
These pouches are great for keeping all your small items together and not rolling around loose in your bag. I fill mine with all sorts of things like my lip balm, bandaids, glasses wipes, pen drive and headphones etc. I also have one to keep my battery bank and cables in as my phone never seems to last the day out without needing a couple of charges.
The best thing about these pouches is that they are small so will fit in nearly all bags – from the Envelope Clutch I made the other day to my tote bag. And if you are like me and tend to change your bag on a regular basis depending on what you are doing, then these pouches make it easier to transfer my necessities across.
You can find all these pouches available for sale on my Etsy store. I hope you like them as much as I do!
