Never lose your keys again!
I can’t believe that we are almost half way through the year! Where has the time gone? Probably sewing. This means it’s almost time for my mid year update and a review of how my New Years ReSEWlutions are going. One of them was to make more items for my Pedlar Creative Etsy store. So that is what I have been working on the last couple of weeks – Key Ring Wristlets.
I absolutely love making these Key Ring Wristlets! They are one of my favourite quick makes – easy to accomplish in an afternoon. Not only that, but they are also beginner friendly. Making them accessible to sewers of all levels. And I love how creative you can be with small pieces of fabric, hardware and a sewing machine. Quilted, topstitched, decorative stitch or no visible stitch? Or maybe you want to add a bit of decorative bling instead? So many options and possibilities!
These Key Ring Wristlets weren’t made using a specific pattern. Instead I got my inspiration from Pinterest– where there are lots of free tutorials. Pinterest is my #1 favourite social media platform. It’s full of inspiration, ideas, projects, crafts, fashion, decor, sewing and so much more. If you are not an avid user of Pinterest – I can highly recommend it.
My Key Ring Wristlets are currently available in my Etsy store. Not only beautifully handmade, but also really practical. (You’ll never lose your keys again!) And I’m going to continue working my way towards my ReSEWlution – of making more items for my store. I’m also thinking of branching out into pattern making and hardware. So stay posted for more on that in the coming months. My next blog post will be all about a brand new bag I’ve made for myself. It’s Bagstock Design’s Meraki Backpack and I absolutely adore it! 😍
