It’s time to personalise your tech
So last year I decided it was time to update my old iPhone for a new one. I have to say it was such a great decision – I absolutely love my new phone. Where would we be without smart phones? So with a new phone comes the excitement of getting new accessories! This time I decided to make my own phone case – just to add a bit of a personal touch.

The pattern I used is ‘Gadget Case’ from Noodlehead’s book ‘Handmade Style’. I had to make a few adjustments to get the measurements right for my phone (phones are much larger than they used to be). Other than that the pattern is quite simple to put together – particularly if you are familiar with making card pockets.

Overall the Gadget Case is a great little project. It’s simple and quick to make and a good use for all those scrap pieces of material you always accumulate. I would definitely recommend the project as well as the book which is full of great projects for yourself or your home. Next time I think I’ll give the flip flops a try so watch this space!
